The Winston finishes

Winston is proud to produce the best existing finish; the classic “Winston Green “ color is synonymous for quality, beauty, and incredible performances! 

They use quality paints, applied several times, and then covered with a colorless paint very resistant and protecting. 

This process takes place in a private laboratory, where the formula remains secret and so unique in the world. 

The splendid final result with a unique shine also concerns the excellent protection and resistance that is given to the carbon fibers and the material Boron; 

before putting the rods into production, Winston ensures various quality controls and inspections, after which all the pieces of the rod are checked and signed by hand with the serial number and all the information of the rod; 

the result is impressive… and obviously made in the USA.

The reel set

There are no shortcuts to the quality of the Winston reel seat; they use high-quality materials, such as Nickel from Germany, on which they apply the Winston logo on the end of the rod, this is only available for freshwater fly rods! 

For the most extreme fly fishing, such as the one in the sea, they use anodized aluminum instead, with the addition of a double safety ring to ensure a perfect seal of the reel on the rod.

The cork

The cork used for the handle of all Winston rods is of the highest quality; 

all the handles they produce are a guarantee of the exact specifications requested by Winston. 

The shape of the cork and the design is optimized according to the model chosen, ensuring the best comfort; in these fly rods, beauty, and performance work together.
