Bauer fly reels are designed and handcrafted in the United States, precisely manufactured using aerospace aluminum and stainless steel for maximum strength.

The spool and carbon fiber drive system rotate on sealed, precision stainless steel ball bearings; the carbon fiber is the perfect choice for spool strength.

Unlike cork, its performance does not depend on lubrication and, unlike polymers, carbon is not affected by temperature changes.

The Bauer Carbon Fiber system is completely sealed and offers smooth and uniform performance in all conditions. No maintenance required.
