Maintenance

The Waterworks Lamson fly reels doesn’t require oil maintenance; depending on use, fresh or salt water, there is a specific maintenance:

• freshwater use: occasionally rinse the fly reel in fresh water and remove any dirt present. A small amount of WD-40 can be used around the recovery handle.

• saltwater use: after every use, remember to rinse the fly reel in freshwater; occasionally, remove the clutch plug and rinse all the reel under freshwater.
